Kedzie Endorses Scott Walker for Governor

Over the last several months, I have had the privilege of discussing the future of Wisconsin state government with two very qualified individuals, and friends. I believe the next Governor of the great State of Wisconsin must restore fiscal responsibility and accountability, as well as provide the necessary leadership to put businesses and people back to work. I believe the man best suited for that task is Milwaukee County Executive, Scott Walker.

During his tenure in the State Legislature, Scott was an ally for the Wisconsin taxpayer and showed leadership on bold initiatives, such as the ‘Truth in Sentencing’ reform measure. Scott carried his principled ideas and values to the Office of County Executive in the Wisconsin’s most populated county, and led the charge to reform Milwaukee County government – a government fraught with institutional corruption and elected officials who forgot the reason why they entered public service. Scott’s leadership in this regard was a testament to his character and devotion to the people he serves, and he will bring that same passion to the East Wing of the State Capitol.

I believe Wisconsin’s best days lay ahead and Scott Walker has the right message, vision, and plan to lead us there. Scott and I have know each other for many years, and I am proud to call him a colleague and a friend; I hope to soon call him, Governor.
